Lemon Balm Tincture (2oz)

$30.00

Lemon balm, a member of the mint family, is considered a calming herb. It was used as far back as the Middle Ages to reduce fever, stress and anxiety, promote sleep, improve appetite, and ease pain and discomfort from indigestion. Lemon balm contains substances called tannins, which may be responsible for many of the herb's antiviral, anti bacterial and anti-parasitic effects. Specifically, evidence suggests that lemon balm contains high activity against herpes simplex virus (HSV), which causes cold sores, Epstein-Barr virus, shingles, and other herpetic bugs which are behind countless chronic illnesses, symptoms, and conditions.

Lemon balm supports the body’s natural ability to fight parasites. Its antiviral and antimicrobial compounds help create an environment that’s less hospitable to unwanted organisms, making it a great choice for gentle cleansing—especially for sensitive groups.

Lemon balm is an amazing herb for tonsillitis, which is inflammation caused by strep bacteria. Lemon balm detoxifies the liver, spleen, and kidneys, and helps reduce bladder inflammation, which makes it amazing for helping to alleviate interstitial cystitis and urinary tract infections (UTIs).
